      Work steps

      1. Connect the positive (+) terminal (red wire) of the charger to the positive terminal of the battery using the M8 copper (or alligator) clip.

      Connect the negative (-) (black wire) of the charger to the M8 copper connector (or alligator clip) to the negative terminal of the battery.

      Warning: Incorrect wiring can damage the charger.

      2. Plug the cable connector at the other end of the charger into an outlet to start charging.

      3. After charging is completed, please unplug the device from the power outlet and disconnect the power supply first.
      Then disconnect the charger from the battery.

      Note: The battery can be left permanently connected to the charger, but it is recommended that the charger be unplugged from the outlet once fully charged.

      Troubleshooting

      Condition Inspection steps
      The charger is connected but the status light is off 1, Make sure the power cord is firmly connected to the charger.
      2, Make sure the AC outlet has power by plugging in another device or using the multimeter in AC mode.
      Green LED lights up when a discharged battery is connected 1, Use a multimeter to check the status of the LiFePO4 battery. Make sure the battery is a 12V (12.8V) LiFePO4 battery.
      2, The battery or charger may be defective or require further troubleshooting.
      The indicator lamp does not light up 1, Double check your connections to make sure the positive and negative M8 copper connectors (or alligator clips) of the charger are properly connected to the positive and negative terminals of the LiFePO4 battery.

      *Note: Make sure the charger and battery are in a well-ventilated area while charging.
      Units should be mounted on suitable horizontal or vertical panels at least 10cm from the end panels to allow adequate ventilation for cooling fans.



      Protective functions

      •Reverse polarity protection:
      Prevents the output lines from sparking due to accidental reverse polarity or short circuit, making the charger safer to use near batteries.

      •Output short-circuit protection:
      Short circuit connection of terminals: Check that the terminals are not touching OR Check that the terminals are correctly connected to the battery.

      •Overvoltage protection:
      The 12V charger is protected when the voltage is higher than 17.5V

      •Cooling fan:
      The charger is equipped with a thermostat controlled fan to cool the onboard electronics and maintain charging performance.


      Warning

      • Read this user manual carefully before charging.
      • It should be used indoors and do not expose the charger to rain, snow or excessive moisture such as B. in a bathroom, greenhouse or sauna.
      • For use with rechargeable 12V LiFePO4 battery pack only.
      • Before use, inspect and remove any debris (if present) from the copper terminal of the charging cable and the terminals of the battery. Make sure neither the charger nor the battery pack is damaged.
      • Disconnect the 110V-240V AC power source before connecting or disconnecting the battery.
      • If wires are frayed or internal parts are exposed, do not touch exposed electrolyte or powder and do not use the charger.
      • Do not open, disassemble or modify the battery.
      • To reduce the risk of electric shock, unplug the charger from the outlet before performing any maintenance or cleaning.
      • Do not attempt to use the charger if you suspect it has been damaged by water or a drop.
      • Do not attempt to use the charger if the power cord is damaged.
      • Any battery material such as electrolyte or powder that comes into contact with skin or eyes must be flushed immediately with plenty of water.
      • Use of non-recommended accessories may result in fire, electric shock, or injury.
      • If there is any abnormal phenomena such as odor, high temperature, etc. during charging, please turn off the power immediately.
      • Keep batteries away from water, heat, sparks and hazardous chemicals.
